In a conversation with the Polish Radio, a lawyer Lech Obara, who advised a former prisoner of German concentration camp Carol Tenderie, who entered into a lawsuit with a German television channel, said that they were satisfied with the sentence.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The Koblenz High Court in a written justification for the verdict, which orders the ZDF channel to apologize, argued that the expression \u201cPolish Death Camps\u201d is not only a mere geographic mistake. In the court&#8217;s opinion, these words may give the impression that these camps were created by the Poles.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In addition, the court did not support ZDF&#8217;s view that the apology would be humiliated by the broadcaster. This is the first case when the German court admitted that the false statement \u201cPolish death camp\u201d used by the ZDF channel violated Carol Tendery&#8217;s personal rights. \u201cWe are completely satisfied with this verdict. He gives us the right to apply to law enforcement agencies for their proper execution,\u201d said lawyer Lech Obara.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">He also reported on lawsuits against other German media who used the false statement \u201cPolish death camps\u201d on their web pages.
