It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Polish Radio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif; color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin opposed the speculation about the historical issues and politicization of these issues in relations between Kiev and Warsaw. \u201cHistory will not separate us,\u201d assured the head of the Ukrainian diplomacy on Monday, January 22, during a press conference in Kyiv.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif; color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Klimkin announced that Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko will come to Warsaw soon. He will discuss these topics with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and National Heritage Peyotr Glinsky.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">I think that the Poles are our friends. I am convinced that our common slogan should be the slogan \u201cfor your and our freedom.\u201d Of course, we are an adult country and an adult nation, and we have our own understanding of our history, but we will talk with our friends on the basis of our friendly relations. It is necessary to stop speculation and politicization of this issue\u201d, &#8211; stressed Pavlo Klimkin.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif; color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed that Rozenko and Glinsky will meet in mid-February. \u201cThey will talk about how to eliminate the existing tension between us over historical issues,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif; color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Klimkin also said that he intends to meet with the head of the Polish diplomacy Jacek Chaputovich. \u201cWe have to discuss many issues, in particular, the UN Security Council, because Poland is its non-permanent member, having replaced the Ukraine. We speak on certain issues at the working level and do it quite effectively. But the key slogan: \u201cfor ours and for your safety\u201d is the most important and history will not separate us, because we have a common vision of the future and a common understanding of the direction we should move towards\u201d, &#8211; said Klimkin.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif; color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The dispute between Warsaw and Kiev intensified last spring, when the Institute of National Memory of Ukraine banned searches and exhumations of the remains of Polish victims of wars and conflicts on the territory of Ukraine. The ban was issued after the dismantling of a monument to the UPA soldiers in the Hrushovichy, Podkarpackie Voivodeship, and the previous cases of defilement and destruction of Ukrainian memory places in Poland.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times\\ New\\ Roman, serif; color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">During the visit of President Andrzej Dudy to Kharkiv and his talks with President Petro Poroshenko, it was decided that the Polish-Ukrainian Commission on Historical Issues will solve this problem.
