On the eve of departure to Latvia for the regular match of the qualifying tournament World Cup-2019, the men’s national team of Ukraine held an open training session. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to fbu.ua.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

The wards of Yevgeny Murzin in the small hall of the Palace of Sport continued to work on team coordination, taking into account the novice players Oleksander Kobts and Volodymyr Geroun in game schemes. Also Eugene Jetter returned to the ranks of Ukrainian national team. The team expects a new quality of the game after his is back.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The wards of Yevgeny Murzina shows the journalists the most spectacular part of the training – throwing exercises. Under one ring worked Kolchenko, Jeter, Konev, Lukashov, Kobets, Bobrov. On the opposite basket there were Pustovy, Mishul, Kravtsov, Gladir, Zaitsev and Geroun. Oleksandr Lypovy missed the training because of the poor health.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the training, Eugene Murzin and Pooh Jettter discussed tactical work. The team is set to achieve the maximum result in this box of qualifying matches (February 23, away with Latvia, February 26 at home with Sweden).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– I am satisfied with the physical condition of the boys, and even more with the atmosphere in the team: everyone works with desire. I think, with the advent of Pooh Jetter, the team will become different. This is a professional and a good person. Geroun and Kobets are newcomers to the team. They are the future of the national team of Ukraine. I hope they will help us in this selection. The task for the team is only victories in these selection matches.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vyacheslav Kravtsov, the captain of the national team of Ukraine:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– Training camps take place in the middle of the season, so all the guys are in good shape. Another thing is that there is not enough time to prepare, so we do our best to get ready for the upcoming matches. The atmosphere in the team is great – Pooh appeared (Jetter – ed.), he easily joined the team. All the guys are united, in good humor. Set to showing the best results.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Very glad to return to the ranks of the national team of Ukraine and in particular to Kiev. This city became a home for me in the 2007\/2008 season (then Jeter played for BC Kyiv – Ed.). Glad to see the guys again – three years seem to have faded like a day. It seems like we`ve never part, we talked online, I followed their performances. I feel a great working atmosphere in the national team of Ukraine. I hope I will benefit the team both in Latvia and in Kiev. We expect only victories.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
