It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Polish Radio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Changes to amendments to the Law on the Institute of National Remembrance are possible; Mostly, the Ukrainian part needs some moderation,\u201d- said Ryszard Terlecki, vice speaker of the Sejm of Poland, chairman of the governing party Law and Justice on Thursday, February 22.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">On the air of the TVP Info TV channel, the Polish politician said: \u201cIt seems that the amendment to the Law on INR was correct, since the Polish state had not yet had the tools to prosecute such crimes and now it receives a certain tool, the theoretical possibility, to persecute those who lie about the Polish history\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">According to him, in the case of \u201cthe Ukrainian part of the law there may be some clarification.\u201d \u201cThe Ukrainian part, to tell the truth, most needs moderation. The whole year the law had been under corrections because of the expansion of categories, the addition of words, the increase of legal confusion. It seemed that by the end of this correction the document would not be very sensitive, although this Ukrainian part is difficult for Ukrainians. But Ukraine has also adopted a similar law, although there is no question of the extent of punishment. And it is a crime that someone has doubted the merits of those who fought against the Communists but also committed crimes against the Poles (in 2015, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law, which recognized the UPA soldiers as fighters for the independence of Ukraine &#8211; ed.)\u201d, &#8211; said Terletsky.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Let&#8217;s remind, the president of Poland Andrzej Duda has signed the updated Law on INR on February, 6th, and then has sent it for inspection to the Constitutional court.
