On Saturday, Israel media reported that Poland was under pressure from Israel and had frozen the law on INR. The spokesman of the Ministry of Justice denies this information. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Polish Radio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Constitutional Court of Poland will consider the updated law on the Institute of National Remembrance not earlier than two months. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice denies reports from the Israeli media that the updated law is frozen. The spokesman for the ministry, Jan Kantak<\/strong>, said that in Poland, every law passed by the parliament and signed by the president is binding. The updated law on INP comes into force on Thursday.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday, Israeli media reported that Poland was under pressure from Israel and froze the law on INP. It is expected that the Polish delegation will arrive in Israel in the coming days to prepare an agreement on this issue. On Sunday, the spokesman for the Ministry of Justice, Jan Kantak<\/strong> denied the information on freezing the law,: \u201cThere are legislative rules in Poland that say that after the law is passed and signed by the president, it will come into force.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

However, the law does not mean that from the beginning of March, when it comes into force, prosecutors will pursue those who violate it. However, as convinced by the spokesman of the President Krzysztof Lapinski<\/strong>: \u201cPossible cases that should fall under this law will be carefully scrutinized in some way by prosecutors.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

However, it is very likely that the meeting of experts who are the part of the Polish and Israeli groups will take place. This is what the spokeswoman of the government, Joanna Koptsinska, says<\/strong>: \u201cThere is no deadline, but it is very likely that such a meeting will take place.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Publicly attributing to the Polish people the responsibility for the crimes of the Third Reich threatens up to three years in prison.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
