It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Polish Radio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The issue of memory places in Polish-Ukrainian relations has been not historical, but political for a long time,\u201d said Konrad Shymansky, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, on the air of the Polish Radio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In the spring of 2017, disputes began between Warsaw and Kiev when the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance banned the search and exhumation of the remains of Polish victims of wars and conflicts on the territory of Ukraine. The ban was issued after the demolition of the UPA monument in Hrushevychi in the Pidcarpatske region and the previous cases of defeat and destruction of Ukrainian memorial sites in Poland.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko spoke last week about the conditions for the restoration of Polish search works. He said that these works would be restored if the Polish authorities would protect the Ukrainian memory sites in their territory.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The Polish side has clearly demonstrated what it is expecting when it comes out of this impasse. This is not an excessive expectation.
