The meeting with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem lasted more than 4 hours.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The Israel diplomatic mission informed that the Israeli side expressed its concerns regarding the Polish law on the Institute of National Remembrance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">We expressed a reservation (&#8230;), emphasizing a paragraph in the text (the law), which complicates the search for truth and open historical debate,\u201d the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, which called the dialogue with the Polish side \u201cdeepened and open\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The AFP reported that the Director-General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Yuliv Rotham, who took part in the meeting, informed the Polish delegation of his \u201cconcern about cases of anti-Semitism (in Poland) and stressed that the Polish government (&#8230;) could not tolerate any tolerance to this phenomenon\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">According to the Israeli Ministry, the parties will make a joint statement on dialogue and possible arrangements. The Polish delegation is to come back to Warsaw today in the first half of the day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">A member of the Polish Dialogue with Israel, Bronislav Wildstein, said after the meeting that Poland and Israel had begun a dialogue, which always encouraged reassurance. \u201cWe are all waiting for the decision of the Constitutional Court in the case of amendments to the law on INP\u201d, &#8211; he added.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">According to Wildschyna, the parties agreed to hold the next meeting of the groups. \u201cThe prospects for Israel and Poland are different. We said that &#8211; they do not understand it, however &#8211; we see more and more cases of accusations of Poland in participating in the Holocaust, while the nationality of the Nazis disappears somewhere,\u201d said Polish journalists after the meeting, Bronislav Wildstein, a member of the Polish group.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Before the meeting, the head of the Polish group, Polish Vice Foreign Minister Bartoszczykocki said that the two sides are starting a historic-legal dialogue that will be supported by a common desire to protect the truth, freedom of scientific activity, freedom of artistic activity and public debate. He added that Poland is ready to join forces with the Israeli side to combat all cases of anti-Semitism and national stereotypes, as well as spread the truth about the Holocaust.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The Polish-Israeli historical-legal dialogue groups were set up in a telephone conversation with the head of the Polish government, Mateusz Moravecki, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in connection with the situation surrounding the updated NPI law.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Recall that on March 1, the updated law on INP of Poland came into force.
