This is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Channel 24.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">This statement was made by the head of \u201cGazprom\u201d Alexei Miller, reports \u201cInterfax\u201d. \u201cGazprom\u201d has to immediately initiate the termination of contracts with \u201cNaftogaz Ukraine\u201d for the supply and transit of gas in the Stockholm arbitration,\u201d &#8211; said Miller.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The head of Gazprom added that the decision of the Stockholm arbitration under the contracts of Naftogaz and Gazprom violated the balance of interests of the parties. Therefore, the continuation of contracts with the Ukrainian Naftogaz is economically inappropriate and unprofitable for the Russian Gazprom. The arbitrators argued that their decision was a sharp deterioration in the Ukrainian economy. We are opposed to the fact that at our cost the economic problems of Ukraine were solved,- he added. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Recall that, February 28, Stockholm arbitration ordered the Russian monopolist \u201cGazprom\u201d to pay \u201cNaftogaz Ukraine\u201d 4.63 billion for failure to supply the agreed volumes of gas transit.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In \u201cGazprom\u201d said they did not agree with the decision of the Stockholm Arbitration on the claim of \u201cNaftogaz\u201d on contract for gas transit and \u201cwill defend their rights by all legitimate means.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"newspaper-x-tags\"><strong><\/strong><span><a href=\"https:\/\/upmp.news\/ru\/tag\/gazprom\/\" rel=\"tag\">\u0413\u0430\u0437\u043f\u0440\u043e\u043c<\/a><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/upmp.news\/ru\/tag\/naftogaz\/\" rel=\"tag\">\u041d\u0430\u0444\u0442\u043e\u0433\u0430\u0437<\/a> <\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Russian Gazprom, after defeat at the Stockholm Arbitration, announced the commencement of the termination of contracts with NJSC Naftogaz.
