It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to prm.ua.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Naftogaz and the Polish oil and gas company signed a contract for a timely delivery of gas after Gazprom refused to deliver gas to Ukraine. Gazprom&#8217;s decision came the day after the announcement of the decision of the Stockholm Tribunal,\u201d the report said.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">It is noted that the contract with PGNiG will be in place by the end of March 2018, its volume is more than 60 million cubic meters. The deliveries began on Friday, March 2, at 6:00 am through the Germanovichi node, which connects Polish and Ukrainian gas transportation systems.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Energy solidarity and cooperation with neighboring countries is our responsibility. Especially now, when Ukraine does not receive supplies from Russia, and is in demand for natural gas for heating increases due to severe winter. We are ready to increase volumes of deliveries or extend the term of the contract with Naftogaz depending on the needs of the Ukrainian market\u201d, &#8211; commented on the situation by the chairman of the board PGNiG Petr Vozniak.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Recall that on February 28, the Stockholm Arbitration approved the demands of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy in respect of compensation for Gazprom&#8217;s short-term transit volumes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Russian energy company Gazprom said it did not agree with the decision of the Stockholm arbitration to pay NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine a compensation of $ 4.63 billion for a short supply of gas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">At the same time, Gazprom refused to supply gas to Ukraine and reduced pressure on the GTS by 10%.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In this regard, NJSC \u201cNaftogaz of Ukraine\u201d appealed to Ukrainians to lower the temperature in the premises by 1-2 degrees to save gas consumption.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In addition, throughout Ukraine, kindergartens, schools and higher educational institutions were recommended to suspend work to save gas consumption.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Naftogaz is suing Gazprom at the Stockholm Arbitration under two contracts: on the purchase of Russian gas by Ukraine and on the transit of Russian gas to the EU through the Ukrainian gas transit system.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">On May 31, Naftogaz received a decision by the Stockholm Arbitration in the proceedings against Gazprom regarding a contract for the supply of gas.
