Ukraine\u2019s president has said that the situation is becoming \u201cmore and more difficult\u201d around the besieged eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut due to constant Russian assaults.<\/strong> It is reported by Upmp.news with reference<\/a> to \u201cPolskie Radio\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volodymyr Zelensky<\/a> made the assessment in a video address to the nation on Monday night, Polish state news agency PAP reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ukrainian president said: \u201cBakhmut<\/a> direction – the situation is getting more and more difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added: \u201cThe enemy is constantly destroying everything that can be used to protect our positions, to gain a foothold and ensure defence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zelensky stated: \u201cOur warriors defending the Bakhmut sector are real heroes. I am grateful to each and every person who is heroically holding this direction and other directions in Donbas.\u201d<\/p>\n
