The Mazovian Specialist Hospital in Ostro\u0142\u0119ka will receive a helipad for emergency helicopters and an elevator directly connected to the ward, thanks to funding from the Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine cross-border cooperation program.<\/strong> It is reported by Upmp.news with reference<\/a> to \u201cPolskie Radio\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, a hospital in Lviv will be equipped with an angiograph to visualize blood vessels and internal organs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to funding from Interreg, Ukrainian doctors will also be able to exchange knowledge and professional experience with specialists from Poland, while residents of the Polish-Ukrainian border region will gain access to improved healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine program<\/a> supports post-war reconstruction in Ukraine, improves healthcare access, promotes sustainable tourism, and strengthens border management, with a total budget of over 262 million euros, largely funded by the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n

“In saving lives, every second counts, which is why building a platform for emergency helicopter landings is so crucial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well-invested funds support actions that address people’s everyday needs and enhance their health safety,” the Deputy Minister added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
