During a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian and foreign business, President Petro Poroshenko signed the Law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Improving Enforcement of Rights of Participants in Criminal Proceedings and Other Persons by Law Enforcement Bodies During the Pre-Trial Investigation”.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The law facilitates the mechanism of prosecution of the investigator or prosecutor, law enforcement officer who took an illegal decision during the investigation of a criminal case, which was subsequently canceled by the court. Speaking in plain language, for the wrongful prosecution of business, guilty will bear personal responsibility, including material one,\u201d Petro Poroshenko said.<\/span><\/p>\n
