\u201cOur priority is to return the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine. Ukraine is an important, independent state, whose interests should be respected in the same way as the interests of other countries,\u201d said Antony Matzerevich, Minister of National Defense of Poland on Tuesday, January 9.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On the waves of the Polish Radio, the Mazeevich emphasized on the great assistance of Poland to Ukraine. \u201cOur support is financial, but also it`s political\u201d, – added Mazeerevich.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

According to the minister, when \u201cLaw and Justice\u201d came to power, a \u201cbreakthrough\u201d took place in the aid that Poland has increased for Ukraine. \u201cThe previous authorities, the previous two governments treated the Ukrainian issue with great caution,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Minister of National Defense of Poland stressed that there is no way to approve changes of the border made by Russia. \u201cThe Russian Federation does not have any special rights in Europe and the world, and Poland will never agree to this situation. Ukraine is an important, independent state whose interests should be respected in the same way as the interests of other states,\u201d said Antony Matzerevich.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On Sunday, the spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense, Anna Penzol-Voitovich, confirmed that Antoni Matzerevich’s visit to the United States will take place on January 17. He is going to meet with General Herbert McMaster, adviser on national security to President Donald Trump. The talks will concern, the security and presence of American soldiers on the eastern flank, in particular in Poland.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
