VOLODYMYR ARYEV WAS ELECTED AS VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE PACE FOR 2018
The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the PACE, Deputy Volodymyr Aryev was elected a vice-president of the Assembly. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to the correspondent of the “European Truth”.
The Vice-Presidents of the PACE are elected by the quotas of the national delegations (the co-presiding countries change in rotation), this year Ukraine has filed Aryev on this post.
The quotas of two delegations – Russian and Italian – remained vacant.
Last year, the duties of the PACE Vice President from Ukraine were performed by Georgy Logvinsky. In particular, he conducted a part of the meeting when, due to distrust of deputies to Pedro Agramut, the PACE temporarily remained without a president.
