Zelensky arrives at NATO summit

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Center LiTEXPO, where the NATO summit is taking place. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to “Укрінформ”.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, the Head of the Ukrainian state gave a comment to the journalists present at the event.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will hold a press conference at 12:35 (Kyiv time).

Then the inaugural meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the highest level will take place.

Before that, a meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of heads of state and government with partner countries will be held.

Zelensky will also hold a number of bilateral meetings.

As reported by Ukrinform, the day before, on the first day of the summit, the heads of state and government of the NATO member countries agreed to cancel the requirement for a Membership Action Plan for Ukraine and said they would extend an invitation to Ukraine to join the Alliance after “fulfilling the conditions”.
