TSURENKO GOES TO THE SEMI-FINAL FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A ROW.

Ukraine’s second racket won a confident victory in the quarterfinal match of “Hobart International”. It is reported by Upmp.news with the reference to btu.org.ua.

Lesya Tsurenko (Ukraine, 5) – Arina Sobolenko (Belarus) 6-1 6-1.

It took Tsurenko only an hour to get a pass to the semifinals of the tournament. In the first set Tsurenko won the serve three times and added two more breaks in the second set. Sobolenko did not manage to convert any of the three earned break points and won only ten points on Tsurenko’s break serve. On the account of Tsurenko there are seven aces and two double faults.

In the semi-finals, the Ukrainian tennis player will meet the winner of the match between American Alison Risk and Romanian Michaela Buzarnescu.

Last year Lesya also got to the semi-final of the tournament in Hobart, but failed to play due to health problems.
