Concerts of the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra to take place in seven European countries this August
This summer, the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra is once again embarking on a European tour. The concerts will be held in countries that have shown unwavering support for Ukraine, including Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra tour is a powerful act of solidarity. The program features Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, Wagner’s “Liebestod”, Maksym Kolomiyets’ “Mother of Kherson”, Wagner’s “Tannhäuser Overture”, Richard Strauss’ “Four Last Songs”, Viktoriya Poleva’s “Bucha Lacrimosa”, and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.

Founded in 2022 by the Metropolitan Opera and the Polish National Opera with the support of Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications, the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra unites leading musicians from around the world. The orchestra’s honorary patron is Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska.
