On January 14th, the 26th Final of The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity was heard throughout the country over the Vistula. 120 thousand volunteers raised funds in public places in Poland and abroad.

The festival was accompanied by concerts and sports competitions. The profits from events will be spent on the purchase of insulin pumps for pregnant women with diabetes mellitus and materials for the study of first aid.

This year’s Final of The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity was held under the slogan “To balance the chances in the treatment of newborns.”

Last year 100 million zlotys were raised during such festival, first of all, for the purchase of medical equipment.

Every year the orchestra organizes the “Woodstock Stop” Summer Rock Festival.
