ACAPULCO TSURENKO WILL PLAY IN THE QUARTER-FINALS

Lesya Tsurenko (Ukraine, 7) – Arina Rodionova (Australia) 6-3 6-1

A little more then an hour Lesia needed to win the second round of competitions in Acapulco. The woman made six breaks on Rodionova’s serve and lost two of her games. Also on the account of Tsurenko there are four rounds and one double fault.

In the quarter-finals Ukrainian tennis player will meet with her last year’s rival in the final of this tournament – a French player Kristina Mladenovich, who ranks 14th in the world ranking and plays in Acapulco under the second number.

Tsurenko and Mladenovich met six times already and five victories in these matches, including two last year, won the Ukrainian.
