DZHIMA AND RESH ENTERED THE TOP FIVE IN THE CHRISTMAS RACE

Yesterday in Gelsenkirchen (Germany) the traditional Christmas Biathlon race ended by hitting the top five best sportsmen rate for the Ukrainian-German couple Julia Dzhima – Michael Resh.

Ukrainian Julia Dzhima, came out for the race in Gelsenkirchen for the first time, in a pair with Belgian Michael Reshem, finished fifth.

The only international duo was tenth during the mass start, but getting used to the atmosphere of the stadium Julia and Michael accomplished the pursuit racing better.

But Resh finished fifth in the sprint competition with Germans Eric Lesser and Canadian Brendan Green.

This was the last race of 2017, but the biathlon fans will be able to watch great competition very soon – on January 4, the fourth stage of the World Cup begins in Oberhof.
