A fictitious court of the terrorists in the temporarily occupied Donetsk “sentenced” three servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Aiden Aslin, Shaun Pinner, and Saadun Brahim. They are foreign nationals, but are still Ukrainian servicemen.
The organizers are well aware that their show trial has no legal effect whatsoever. Even the Russian court chose to avoid this dirty trial and passed it to a group of impostors in Donetsk.
Their objective is to terrorize the Western public opinion by threatening to shoot the three hostages. But we should not be driven by the impostors’ hysterics.
I don’t know what’s in the terrorists’ minds. But something tells me that, eventually, one way or another, sooner or later, these three servicemen will be exchanged (or otherwise get home).
We are dealing with professional terrorists who, at the end of the day, act rationally. Therefore, you need to deal with them calmly and professionally. For they are well aware of the irreparable implications for them and for the Russians if they take any wrong steps against these three of our soldiers.
