Vyacheslav Kirilenko took part in the international forum”Occupied Peninsula:4 Years of Resistance”

Today, Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko took part in the international forum “Occupied Peninsula: 4 Years of Resistance”. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to the Government portal.

Vyacheslav Kyrylenko expressed confidence that the time of liberation of the Crimea from Russian occupation is approaching and on behalf of the Government thanked the international friends for their support. “There is no more important issue for the Ukrainian state than the restoration of territorial integrity, state sovereignty of Ukraine. I’m sure this time will come when we will meet not in Kiev, but in Sevastopol, Simferopol or Bakhchisarai in order to celebrate the anniversary of the liberation of Crimea from the Russian invaders. This time is steadily approaching. In order for this to happen, all the forces of goodwill in the world, all our western friends, all who aspire to the liberty of the occupied Crimea, all Ukrainians who do their best to prevent the Crimea from feeling left behind, so that the Crimea would feel an integral part of Ukraine,” – V. Kirilenko said.

The deputy prime minister stressed that the number of invaded people who refused to recognize the occupation, who are kept under different prescriptions in the Crimean prisons, are difficult to count, there are actually hundreds of them. The scale of human rights violations in the Crimea should be the focus of the international community:

“The government is doing everything in its power to ensure that these issues are always on the agenda of world international organizations. We interact all together – the President of Ukraine, the Parliament, the Cabinet of Ministers, local authorities in order to be able to bring time to liberate the Crimea. We note the efforts of the diplomats who work daily to bring the truth about Crimea to our international partners. And these efforts result in very concrete decisions – in the resolution of the UN General Assembly and other important international institutions”, – V.Kyrilenko emphasized.

The event was attended by First Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Gerashchenko, Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Rostislav Pavlenko, European Parliament MP from Germany, Co-chairman of the Green Faction, European Free Alliance of the European Parliament Rebecca Garms, US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Ukraine, Mari Yovanovich, diplomats, people’s deputies of Ukraine, government officials, representatives of the public.
