ALMOST ALL POLISH COMPANIES HAVE BEEN ATTACKED BY HACKERS

As many as 82 percent of companies operating in Poland have fallen victim to cyber-attacks last year. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Polish Radio.

Rzeczpospolita” draws the attention that firms are afraid of cybercriminals. According to the first study of “Barometer of Cybersecurity” conducted in Poland, a third of companies noted a marked increase in the scale of such threats. Every forth firm announced that at least ten so-called security incidents had been detected last year. In total, 82 percent of enterprises operating in Poland last year became victims of cyber-attacks.

However, the representative of KPMG analytical center Krzysztof Radzivon believes that in reality the problem may be greater. The expert made a remark – “they say that enterprises can be divided into those who have already fallen victim to the attacks of the hackers, and those who have undergone such an attack, but still do not know about it.”

Another edition, “Puls Biznesu”, notes – the problem is not the money for security, but the lack of IT staff.
