On Tuesday, Brussels will host the CYBERSEC – Brussels Leaders’ Foresight conference, as “Gazeta Polska Codziennie” writes. The event, organized by the Kostyushko Institute, will be attended by more than 200 participants. Among them are representatives of the EU administration, international organizations, think tanks and global IT leaders.
This event is the first international version of the European Cybersecurity Forum, which involves more than 1,000 people from around the world every year. During the conference will be considered the most important recommendations from the forum CUBERSEC, which took place in Krakow last year.

May 2018 is the deadline for the introduction by the EU Member States of the NIS directive. That is, the directives of the European Parliament and the European Council, on measures aimed at promoting a high level of common safety of networks and computer systems in the European Union; the work on the cybersecurity package continues in the European Parliament, and the European Commission is developing directives in the area of counteracting misinformation.
