POLAND INTRODUCES NEW EMPLOYMENT RULES FOR FOREIGNERS IN 2018.

Poland introduces new employment rules for the foreigners starting from 2018. Starting next year the application-orders of Polish employers will be replaced by tradable permits for seasonal work. It is reported by Upmp.news with thereference to Polish Radio.

Since the next year in Poland new rules for the employment of foreigners are coming into force.

As noted by Mažana Skočka, the Director of the Office of Labor Administration in the city of Gruec Mazowiecki voivodship, application-orders to entrust work to a foreigner are to be replaced by paid permits for seasonal work.

The period of employment can not exceed 9 months during the calendar year and it is counted from the date of arrival of the foreigner to the territory of Poland. Such document will cost 30 zlotys.

“The introduction of the new rules are first aimed at adapting polish legislation to the norms of European Union. It is also important to pay attention to those elements that didn`t work properly while registering the application-orders of the employer,” – said Tomasz Seradz, the Director of the Voivodship Labor Office in Warsaw.

He added that there was no control over the procedure of obtaining a job on the basis of a application-orders, except the very fact of their registration. It was unknown where and on what conditions a citizen of another state worked in Poland. This situation complicated the inspections led by of Border Guard and the State Labor Inspectorate.

The procedure for seasonal work permits will be applied in agriculture, horticulture, tourism and gastronomy.
