THE NUMBER OF DEATHS IN POZNAN, CAUSED BY A CIVIL CATASTROPHE, HAS INCREASED TO FIVE

The fire department informed about the found body of the fifth dead person as a result of the collapse of the house. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Polish Radio.

On Monday, March 5, the Polish fire service confirmed information about the fifth body founded at the place of the catastrophe in Poznan. Residential building along the street of “June 28” in the capital of Wielkopolska province collapsed, probably due to a gas explosion on Sunday morning.

Today, the Polish prosecutor’s office opened proceedings in the tragedy in a residential building.

At the time of the explosion there were 40 people in the building, according to the rescuers. 21 people were injured, three of them were heavy. The search and rescue group is constantly operating on the site of the destroyed building.

A spokesman for the fire service in Wielkopolske province Slawomir Brandt said today that rescuers found the body of the fifth person died.

Today, during a press conference, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravecki expressed the most sincere sympathy to the families of the victims. He wished as soon as possible recovery to all victims of the catastrophe.
