THE PREMIER OF POLAND SUPPORTED THE IDEA OF BANNING ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROMOTE TOTALITARIANISM

Moravetsky said that Poland should not tolerate Nazi, Hitler or Communist symbols, and also supported the idea of a total prohibition of organizations that promote totalitarian regimes. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Polish Radio.

“Organizations glorifying German Nazism or another totalitarian regime, as well as using their symbolic, must be declared outlawed, and young people practicing such things should be punished,” said Mateusz Moravecki.

According to him, the Polish state should not demonstrate the slightest tolerance to “Hitler, Nazi, fascist or communist symbols.”

This was the Polish Prime Minister reaction to the journalistic investigation of the television channel TVN about the activities of individual nationalist groups in Poland. On records, a hidden video camera shows, in particular, how neo-Nazis from the organization “Pride and Present” cheers to “Adolf Hitler and our homeland, beloved Poland”, “altar” with Hitler, as well as treating a cake with the symbolic of the Third Reich flag.

Immediately after broadcasting the television report, Poland’s Attorney General Zbigniew Zybro ordered to start investigations into the case of public promotion of the totalitarian system.

Polish law enforcement agencies have already held their first detention concerning neo-Nazi extremism. Investigators found flags, badges, emblems and publications with Nazi symbols, as well as a 8 mm gun and 16 assault rifles at the houses of participants of the 128th anniversary of Adolf Hitler’s birth. In this regard, the Gliwice Public Prosecutor’s Office has charged three people with the propaganda of the Nazi regime, and one of the detainees has been charged with illegal possession of firearms.
