During the meeting of the Committee on Relations with Poles Abroad, deputies want to discuss the implementation of this project. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Polish Radio.

The Sejm Committee on Relations with Poles Abroad is returning to discussion on the establishment of the Polish House in Lviv. The construction started three years ago. During the meeting of the committee, deputies want to discuss the implementation of this project.

During the last months construction work has been accelerating, but before that, there were idles on the construction site. During the meeting, we will ask for the submission of the most recent data, – said chairman of the committee Anna Schmidt-Rodzevich of Law and Justice: “It’s really better now and work has been accelerated. The state we observed in June, and what I saw a few weeks ago, really shows a significant acceleration. The Senate has transferred the next tranche of funds to this project. Perhaps we will also get financing from the central budget.”

It is already known that the building will not be put into operation in the period provided for by the preliminary plan, that is, in November this year. The deputy of the ruling party added that the parliament is working on an additional form of regular meetings devoted to discussing the state of work on the construction of the Polish House in Lviv:

At one of such working meetings, with the participation of the Chancellor of the Senate, the head of the Polish community [in Lviv, ed.] the idea of creating a working group composed of these individuals appeared, as well as representatives of the Senate a commission that will meet regularly and track the progress of the work.”

The next meeting of the committee is scheduled for the end of next week.
