ZAKOPANE WELCOMES TOURISTS FROM UKRAINE

Most of the places in the Polish resort were reserved by Ukrainians, then Russians, as well as guests from Belarus. It is reported by Upmp.news with the reference to Polish Radio.

As soon as the amount of Polish tourists in Zakopane decreased after the New Year the “help” from the East came.

Local hotel owners admit that the amount of tourists us lower than ten years ago, but these days there are way more tourists from abroad then it was last year.

Especially often, you can hear the Ukrainian language, because, besides vacationers, a large number of Ukrainians work in restaurants, shops and hotels of Polish mountain resorts.

Agata Voitovich, the member of the Tatranska Economic Chamber says that the greatest number of places was booked by tourists from Ukraine, then from Russia and there also expected some guests from Belarus. The head of the Chamber emphasizes – tourists from the East love to hold Orthodox holidays just in Zakopane, because here they feel comfortable. For Eastern European tourists there are services of God, in restaurants – corresponding menus and services are often available in their native language.
