THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE EXPECTS THE IMF REGULATIONS TO BE FULFILLED IN THE Q1 OF 2018
Ukraine needs financial help from the International Monetary Fund and other international financial organizations and can fulfill the conditions for receiving another tranche of the IMF loan in the first quarter of this year. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to 5.UA.
“My main task as a Minister of Finance is to continue successful work with the IMF. If we have a program with the IMF, we can receive additional funding from the World Bank, the EU. This money is now important”, – said the Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk in an exclusive interview on “Channel 5”.
Commenting on the conditions for the allocation of the next tranche of the IMF under the Extended Funding Program of the EFF, Danylyuk recalled that he had adopted the pension reform last year and expressed the hope that the new privatization law would be adopted on January 18.
“I hope that in the first quarter we will have the law on the Anticorruption Court”, – added the head of the Finance Ministry.
He also noted that delaying the restoration of financing from the IMF is one of the factors that weakening hryvnia, although the available reserve volume of more than $ 18 billion above a comfortable level.
Danylyuk stressed that in the absence of IMF loans, Ukraine will have to look for alternative sources of funding, and “it’s not as easy”.
