UKRAINIAN RIGHT-WING RADICALS CRIED OUT ANTI-POLISH SLOGANS WHILE WALKING IN LVIV

Participants of the procession, in particular, exclaimed: “The city of Lviv is not for Polish masters,” emphasizing that “Lviv is Banderian”. it is reported by Upmp.news with reference to the Polish Radio.

On Sunday, March 4, the torches of the activists of right-wing radical organizations took place on the central streets of Lviv, dedicated to the day of the death of UPA’s commander-in-chief Roman Shukhevych on March 5, 1950, in a battle with a punitive detachment of Soviet special services. According to the organizers, in the action participated about a thousand of people. They walked throught the streets of the city crying out provocative anti-Polish slogans, – informs portal zaxid.net.

Participants of the procession shouted slogans: “The city of Lviv is not for Polish masters”, “Remember, foreigner, Ukrainian is the host here”, “Who are we? Ukrainians! What do we want? Power!”, “Our land and our heroes”, “The idea of the nation – against the degradation” and others.

The head of the party, the National Corps in the Lviv region Svyatoslav Syryy, said the following slogan “The city of Lviv was not for Polish masters” deliberately chosen to show that “Lviv is Banderian”.

This slogan is connected with the latest scandalous law adopted in Poland, and the behavior of the city authorities at the session of the city council, when there was a vote for red-and-white flags. There are two in one. The law passed in Poland is unacceptable to us (this is an updated law on the Polish National Memory Institute – ed.). In no way we oppose the Polish people, but we are against the populist government of Poland, which has adopted this scandalous law. Therefore, today we went out to show that Lviv is a Banderian town and nobody will point us to whom we honor”, – said Siriy.

According to Svyatoslav Syriy, most of the participants in the torch march are activists of the National Corps and National Dryzhinas, members of the Freedom and Right sector.
