Vasyl Voskoboynyk: Now Ukraine has to think where we will take working hands

We conducted three sociological surveys for the period 2016-17 and asked people not only about why they want to go to work, but whether an idea to emigrate appears at their minds. This is reported by Upmp.news with reference to the ZIK TV channel.

When we conducted sociological research (and in the period 2016-17, there were three), we asked people not only about why they want to go to work, but whether they have an idea to emigrate. And 64% of those who want to leave the country forever, called the main reason for wanting to be in other conditions, to get a new quality of life. And among these people, only 23% say that the reason for emigration was that they could not find work at home. It is also clear that in the coming years Ukrainian employers will begin to experience a growing shortage of personnel. Ukraine, as in fact the whole Europe, is in a situation of depopulation. In addition, migration processes affect the number of working people. And in the next 10-15 years, our country will face the fact that with high returns from each workplace, still will not be enough work hands. And today, employers have to think not only about how to bring Ukrainian migrant workers home, but also where to get additional working hands.
