Christmas Greetings from the Presidential Couple

Christmas Greetings from the Presidential Couple

Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Compatriots at home and abroad! On Christmas Eve, please accept our warmest wishes and greetings. May this special time cheer us up and bring us peace. May it rekindle the ties that bind us together.

On this silent, holy night, Polish homes around the world resound with heartfelt wishes, conversations around the Christmas table and beautiful Polish carols. We share the opłatek wafer, and by offering our gifts we remind the loved ones how important they are to us.

We hope that this Christmas will bring you a lot of peace, that it will allow you to brush your worries aside. All the more so because, once again, the past year has not been an easy one. Just as we were beginning to rejoice that the pandemic was finally halted, our close neighbour: Ukraine fell victim to armed aggression.

That is why we are more grateful than ever before for the peace and security that Poland enjoys. And for the great, priceless value of our unity and solidarity in difficult times.

This is precisely our first wish to all of you, Ladies and Gentlemen: we wish you peace in the world and at our borders. And above all, peace in our hearts – so that together we can overcome any difficulties.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please, accept our good wishes for prosperity in your daily affairs and for hope and good courage on the threshold of the New Year. May the fond memories of happiness we feel now among our loved ones, in the glow of the Christmas decorations stay with you.

Our special warm wishes go out to all those who make it possible for us to enjoy Christmas atmosphere in the family circle. We extend our warmest greetings to all those who are on duty and at work today: soldiers, servicemen and women, and other staff in public companies who ensure that in this festive time we can rest and relax.

We wish you all a healthy, cheerful Christmas.

All the best! Merry Christmas!
