I am grateful to Leonid Kuchma for his work in the TCG – Head of State

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is grateful to the second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma for his work as head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG). It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Official website President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President stressed that Leonid Kuchma’s work in the Minsk process was extremely important and at the same time difficult. The President noted that he respects his decision to terminate his participation in the TCG.

“Thank you for all the efforts you have made to unblock the Minsk process to achieve peace. Your experience was crucial and extremely necessary. I am always ready to listen to your advice in the future,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a meeting with Leonid Kuchma on July 28.

For his part, the second President of Ukraine noted that over the past year the work of the TCG has been resumed and advanced significantly, a number of important steps have been taken, important agreements have been reached.

Leonid Kuchma noted that he is ready to share his experience and provide consultations on steps towards peace in case of need.
