Almost 28,000 patients are currently receiving inpatient treatment for coronavirus disease, and this trend has remained over the past two weeks. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Official website President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the traditional conference call on preventing the spread of coronavirus disease, which was chaired by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Today, the President and Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak continued their work in the Office as usual.

Chief medical officer of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko noted that the weekly dynamics of the disease has stabilized. The President asked whether the situation with wearing masks has improved. Head of the National Police Ihor Klymenko said that 1,300 fines have been issued for violations of rules on wearing masks.

It was stated that Ukrainians in general have become more responsible with quarantine measures.

“Weekend quarantine and additional security measures are paying off. We must do everything we can to avoid a complete lockdown. So far, statistics shows that we manage to curb the projected growth. It is also important to resume all economic programs and start new ones to help as many people as possible. After all, the epidemic situation around the world affects the economy,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that last week, pursuant to the instruction of the President, the government developed an action plan to support business and certain industries.

“This week, the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture is to finalize indicators on the support for certain industries that have been affected due to the introduction of quarantine restrictions. The state will support entrepreneurs,” the Prime Minister said.
