14 OFFICERS WERE ELEVATED T THE GENERAL RANK BY THE PRESIDENT OF POLAND

President Andrzej Duda handed the appointment to the officers of the Polish Army to the general and admiral ranks. It is reported by Upmp.news with reference to Polish Radio.

Polish President Andrzej Duda, who is the head of the armed forces, drew attention to the fact that the generals constitute the elite of the Polish Army. According to him, the provision of the general’s rank means not only the trust of the president and the government, but also duties. The generals are responsible for the processes that take place in the Polish Army.

We have two of such important processes, in the most general terms. On the one hand, it is an army reform in the organizational sense, because we are now preparing a new system of command and control. We are developing changes in the organizational order of the Polish Army. But we are also implementing an extremely important process of modernizing the armed forces,” said Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland.

The head of state stressed that the appointment of the general’s rank was held on the National Day of the Memory of the Cursed Soldiers, who undoubtedly fought for free Poland.

The rank of general was armored to general Leshek Suravsky, head of the General Staff of the Polish Army.

The title of general armor got General Jaroslav Mika, commander in chief of the armed forces and general of division Slavomir Voytsekhovsky, head of the operational command of the armed forces.

The rank of general division is Brigadier General Stanislaw Chosnek, commander of the 11 Armored Division; Brigadier General Adam Yooks, deputy head of the General Staff of the Polish Army; Brigadier General Krzysztof Krul, Deputy Commander of the Multinational Corps Northeast and Brigadier General Caesar Visniewski, Defense Attaché under the Diplomatic Mission of Poland to the United States.

The rank of Brigadier General was armored to Colonel Zenon Bushcho, Commander of the Multinational Division in Lublin; Colonel Shimon Kozytek, Deputy Head of the Office of Planning and Programming of Armed Forces Development at the General Staff; Colonel Dariusz Parilyak, commander of the 10 Armored Brigade; Colonel Richard Pietras, commander of the 21 Brigades of the Podgaleansky riflemen; Colonel Jacek Pszła, Commander 2 of the Tactical Aviation Wing and Colonel Jan Ridz, Commander of the 1 Armored Brigade.

The rank of Contradmiral was given to Commander Krzysztof Zdonek, Commander of the 8th Flotilla of the Coastal Defense.
