Ukrainian workers and employees in Poland are widely present not only in Warsaw and in several major cities. We will meet them also in smaller cities, much closer to the western border. And Ukrainian children have become commonplace in our schools”, – “Gazeta Polska Codziennie” reports.

The publication notes that the structure of Ukrainian workers in Poland was affected by the situation in Donbass. A report by the Polish National Bank indicates that in Poland, women over 40-year-olds who worked in households and commerce used to be a major part of Ukrainian workers in Poland. Today, 30-year-old workers have arrived on construction sites, and they do not send out every penny for their families in order to arrange their lives in Poland.

According to the National Bank of Poland, in 2015, there were about one million Ukrainians. So today, we hope that there are much more.
